Ladies Bootcamp
Get in shape with friends and make new ones in our ladies’ only bootcamp. But make no mistake you won’t have time for idol chitchat. This is open to any fitness level. It is doable for the novice and challenging to the seasoned exerciser. Your instructor will make sure you will get a tone & sculpted body from an infinite variety of exercises & drills.

Description:
Women will be physically challenged by different variants of calisthenics and light to moderate weight training with short and few breaks. They will experience comradely and teamwork. Women will gain strength, endurance, shed pounds and make friends while getting into swimsuit shape for all seasons. Ladies can burn up to 700 – 1000 calories depending on the class.
24 Classes: (at least twice per week) for $192 @ $8.00 per session
Classes expire 90 days from the first class
16 Classes: (at least twice per week) for $160 @ $10.00 per session
Classes expire 60 days from the first class
8 Classes: (at least twice per week) for $100 @ $12.50 per session
Classes expire 30 days from the first class
SPEC Football Camp
(Speed & Strength, Power, Endurance, Conditioning for Football)
This is for the football player that wants an extra edge on the competition.
Players will learn to get past any physical & mental pain to succeed in any task. (Griffin Fitness’s definition of pain is feeling uncomfortable but the body is mechanically sound – meaning injury free. Our definition of injury is physical damage or anything that causes deviations of the body’s proper mechanics. We respect injuries and we prevent them.) The player will be conditioned to exert and deliver great power and explosiveness - even in states of fatigue, which the game requires. The player will be able to recover quickly for the next play in any kind of environment. The player will perform drills that can only be successful with working with others, which promotes teamwork.

The SPEC Football Camp is based on the principles of SPEC along with the drills that are prevalent with Football. We focus on the players need to get bigger, stronger, quicker and faster base on the position he plays.
SPEC was designed to make any person who is willing to work to be as humanly fit and functional as possible. It is hybrid training that takes the best and the most practical techniques for Speed & Strength, Power, endurance conditioning (SPEC) without sacrificing one for the other. Example: people who are proficient in strength training sacrifice being as proficient in endurance and vice versa.
How SPEC training does this is teaching some classes in a controlled environment. The emphases in these classes are students procuring exercise techniques, body alignment, instruction and comprehension. These issues are the upmost important compared to stress motivation. This environment is little mental stress to the student unless the student brings stress to himself such as being a perfectionist. Although, the exercises executed in the controlled environment classes does produce physical stresses on the students. This environment also serves as a goal gage to see how far the student has come on his physical fitness and gives encouragement to progress further in the SPEC program.
The second part is taking the students in a seemingly uncontrolled environment and applying the conditioning & techniques that they were taught to do. The instruction can and will be confrontational to motivate the students past his comfort zone. Where in the military, especially in Special Forces, the duty of the instructor is to weed out the weak or rather the unmotivated; a SPEC Instructor’s job is to make the students strive forward.
These high stress classes will usually phase in all aspects of fitness (strength, speed, power & endurance) but sometimes focus on particular aspect as well with very little break or recovery time. Some of these drills will not be able to be completed without the aid of their fellow teammates (group classes only).
Students will receive certificates on certain physical & leadership achievements showing their accolades and fitness levels passed. This will keep the students motivated and informs the instructor what the students are capable of. Each student will have their results recorded each time they participate in class in their log: times, weight lifted, skills, repetitions, body fat and mental fortitude.
